What kind of social opportunities exist at UUCS?

We have many social opportunities for anyone--friend, visitor, guest or member--who chooses to participate in them. Please feel free to indulge in any activity that sparks your interest.

Bridge for Fun

Meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Jefferson Room. You must call to sign up.

Choir

Film Forum

View the selected film at a local theater and then join us while Judy Helgager leands a lively and informative discussion. The Film Forum meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7 PM in the South Wing.

Freethinkers

Freethinkers of UUCS meet on the first Friday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Jefferson Room to explore the Fourth Principle: the free and responsible search for truth and meaning. The group nurtures humanist, secularist, rationalist and UU principles through their reading, discussions, seminars, videos, and guest speakers. Forums

Garden Group

At a host's home monthly suppers are held for 6-8 people. Each guest provides a dish for the supper. Reservations required.

Interweave

This group promotes friendship, political awareness and opportunities to reduce prejudice by increasing understanding and acceptance among people of different sexual orientations. Monthly Rainbow Potlucks and movie nights are open to all.

Movie Group

Parents Connecting

Recorders
