We have many social opportunities for anyone--friend, visitor, guest or member--who chooses to participate in them. Please feel free to indulge in any activity that sparks your interest.

Bridge for Fun

Choir

Film Forum

Forums

Forums take place very Sunday at 9:30 am, an hour before services. Subjects include most anything related to ethics, morality or religion.

Freethinkers

Freethinkers host presentations regularly on the first Friday (and often on the third Friday) of each month at 10 a.m. in the Jefferson Room to investigate and explore issues we confront every day as responsible individuals. We pride ourselves in hosting the finest minds in the religious, civic and educational community in the Sarasota area to produce these presentations. French Conversation Group

The French Conversation Group meets every Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Jefferson Library. The group is open to any student of French who is able to read French texts and discuss them. Most of the participants are fairly fluent in the language. The activities consist of reading articles or books, of oral reports given by individuals, discussions of selected topics. The emphasis is on the spoken language. The group leader corrects pronounciation and offers help in the grammatical structure of the language as well.

At a host's home monthly suppers are held for 6-8 people. Each guest provides a dish for the supper. Reservations required.

Interweave

This group promotes friendship, political awareness and opportunities to reduce prejudice by increasing understanding and acceptance among people of different sexual orientations. Monthly Rainbow Potlucks and movie nights are open to all.

Movie Group

Parents Connecting

Recorders
