OUR FAVORITE HIPPY

 

Poor Marie’s hip hurt a lot—

Her right shock absorber was shot.

Doc put her in a hoist,

For which she rejoist,

And said, “It’s more fun than I thot!”

 

Marie is a gal quite fantastic,

So human and enthusiastic,

But it’s really ironic—

She’s somewhat bionic,

Made partly of metal and plastic!

Mark’s muse inspires him to write slyly nonsensical limericks, for which he has become famous (or notorious?) among his friends. These two perfect examples of his “art” were sent separately to Marie Millett when she was recuperating from hip surgery recently. We put them together for purposes of this column.
