Freethinkers: a forum where anything goes

We sponsored presentations every month. You can listen to most of these presentations, right here on the web. Go to this page to see a list of our previous presentations and listen to some stimulating exchanges.

The First Friday Freethinkers met on the first Friday of every month at 10 am at the church for the free exchange of ideas in the fields of religion, morality, ethics and justice. The group got its start in 2007 and has been hosting one or two presentations a month from some of Sarasota's leading thinkers and movers.

For those who wish to expore the concept of freethinkers more fully a comprehensive definition of a freethinker can be found at the site of the Freedom from Religion Foundation.
