The UUCS Music Program

Our members have decided to make music a priority at our church. To accomplish our goals we have divided the Music Program into three veins:

  • Choir: Our choir is directed by Robert Lischetti and sings approximately every other week during the regular church year (September-June). If you like to sing we would love to hear from you. The choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30 pm and our services are Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

  • Piano: Our pianist, Jan Dorsett, performs at every service, either through solos or as background for our hymns or both. Substitute pianist David Katz performs at the service on June 20, July 4 and August 8.

  • Guest soloists: Professional musicians perform 15-20 times during the regular church year as part of our Music Program. Soloists are recruited and coordinated by Don DeMaio.

      Oct. 24: Tenor Robert Lischetti and pianist Jan Dorsett.

    • Music for Sunday Services

    Jan Dorsett performs regularly on Sunday mornings, either as accompanist or solist.
