Service (10:30 am)by Rabbi Harold Caminker of Temple Beth El, Bradenton "The Gatekeepers" is a recent award-winning film from Israel where six former heads of the Shin Bet (secret service) are interviewed in depth. They currently advocate a conciliatory settlement with the Palestinians. My remarks will reflect upon the message/theme in this remarkable film. Bottom line - a peaceful solution for this 'blood feud' is the only way to go, in my humble opinion. Is it true that being a nuclear power is the only way to get international respect? John's presentation includes materials from the Chairman of the University of Chicago's History Department. Louise Stinespring will moderate the discussion following John's presentation.
